Friend and brother R.I.P

This rough cut project of mine is a documentary on "Whispers Barbershop". As I am looking back at footage of this incomplete project I realized that this was no longer about the journey and the man behind the Whispers shop sign but my connection to his life as longtime friend and brothers who started out in the same neck of the woods to him teaching me to cut hair and working side by side for many years. We held it down from Pops shop as Chips and Max to promoting events like 112 concert and birthing the HUSH clothing line to the early beginnings of the well known Whispers. Watching him take action inspired me to do the same. This resulted on an amazing life adventure. This project shows a bit of who he was and the passion that lies within him. Today I am sharing this with all who know and love Greg.
Rest in peace my Brother
See you on the other side!!

Monday Design choices

Monday is a restart for me, a new beginning. So now it time to take a direction, make choices. Keep learning and don't look back on mistakes, instead learn from them. Remember to have fun during the process. I am also noticing that my designs and work has completely changed. It is going to another level or I am just getting older lolol. In a few weeks I am going to post some of my recent works and their process. Stay tune!!!

Kid Koala's Satellite Concert

In February 2017 Amy and myself went to the Kid Koala Satellite concert at Phi-Centre. It was truly an amazing experience. I don't even know where to start. The atmosphere was calm and smooth, with dim lights and sense of intimacy. Even the crowd that showed up was a mixture of old and young. Was not expecting that at all, usually you would expect a younger crowd for this type of music. He played tracsk from his recent album titled: Music to draw: satellite . The best part about the show was the setup. Each participant was given a small dj station to use during the performance, to play along with the dj. AMAZING!!! We were given instruction of how this would happen, so it would not be a complete mess. HAHA. The results was a magical night that anyone there would never forget, I definitely will not . Here are some photos from the event.

If you curious about the music, here is a sample Two videos of tracks from that evening
